Al margen de los recursos presentados ante el Tribunal Supremo, el Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo ha fijado para el ejercicio 2016 un objetivo de ahorro agregado de energía equivalente a 3.046 gigavatios hora, GWh, el mismo volumen que en este año 2015. Entre las empresas obligadas a realizar aportaciones al Fondo Nacional de Eficiencia, Repsol es la que debe asumir un mayor sacrificio, con unos 37 millones, frente a los 44 millones previstos en la orden ministerial de reparto de esfuerzos en el año 2015. el Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo redujo posteriormente esta última cifra.
Endesa, con unos 25 millones, es la segunda empresa que más contribuirá, por delante de Gas Natural Fenosa y Cepsa, que aportarán unos 22 millones y 19 millones, respectivamente. Iberdrola deberá abonar 12 millones a este Fondo de Eficiencia Energética. Conforme al mecanismo de obligaciones, las empresas deben ahorrar durante el año una energía equivalente a un 1’5 por ciento anual de sus ventas, medidas en términos energéticos, a través de medidas de eficiencia.
Estos nuevos objetivos de ahorro y eficiencia energética se reparten entre empresas dedicadas a la comercialización de gas y electricidad, así como entre operadores petrolíferos y otras empresas relacionadas con esta materia, a los que se consideran sujetos obligados a participar en el plan de ahorro. El plan del Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo se lanza en cumplimiento de las directivas comunitarias, que establecen la obligación de justificar las cantidades de ahorro de energía conforme a los objetivos de 2020. España debe ahorrar 15’9 millones de toneladas o equivalente entre 2014 y 2020.
]]>En esta jornada se dio a conocer las ayudas puestas en marcha por el Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo a través del Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía, IDEA, para proyectos de ahorro y eficiencia energética, que conllevan una importante inversión. Estas ayudas que se pueden solicitar ya se centran en cuatro líneas de actuación principalmente que son la rehabilitación energética de edificios, el transporte, la pyme y la gran empresa del sector industrial y el alumbrado exterior municipal.
Por otro lado se informó también sobre el Programa Operativo FEDER 2014-2020 para la Región de Murcia, destinado a las empresas, en especial pymes de los sectores industrial y terciario. La principal finalidad de esta convocatoria es avanzar en la evaluación y mejora de la eficiencia energética y en el fomento del uso de las energías renovables del sector industrial. Y es que este programa contempla destinar un total de 28.230.500 euros en los próximos cinco años y generar con ello una inversión inducida de más de 100 millones de euros. En concreto, para la evaluación y mejora de la eficiencia energética de las empresas se consignan 16.937.500 euros y para el fomento del uso de las energías renovables por las empresas, 11.293.000 euros.
El director general de Industria y Energía afirmó en las jornadas que los beneficios van a ser significativos, ya que las inversiones previstas propiciarán una disminución de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero cifrada en más de 4.500 toneladas de CO2, que equivalen a la emisión del parque de vehículos de la Región en un año y siete meses, y una disminución en el consumo de energía de 165 kilo toneladas equivalentes de petróleo, que supone el consumo energético de 194.000 hogares en un año. Esta jornada se enmarco en la nueva estrategia de la Unión Europea para el empleo y el crecimiento inteligente, sostenible e integrador, Estrategia Europa 2020, que en materia de sostenibilidad energética y lucha contra el cambio climático.
