Y es que este centro sanitario de Linares ha finalizado la implantación de un nuevo sistema de climatización basado en energías renovables y la creación de una planta de cogeneración energética, que contribuyen a la mejor eficiencia energética del mismo.

Este hospital público linarense del Servicio Andaluz de Salud está terminando la instalación de su nuevo sistema de climatización, que está basado en la instalación de una central térmica, placas solares y una planta de cogeneración energética. Y es que esta es una mejora que ayudará al hospital a mejorar su eficiencia energética. Esta actuación, que comenzó a finales del año pasado 2014, tiene un presupuesto de 2’4 millones de euros, procedente de los fondos “Feder” de la Unión Europea. Esta obra garantizará con mayor fiabilidad y eficacia del suministro energético en todas sus dependencias y además permitirá la utilización de energías renovables menos contaminantes que las anteriores.

El proyecto técnico iniciado en el centro hospitalario años atrás de cara a la mejora de la eficiencia energética de dichas instalaciones, finalizará a lo largo de este año tras importantes actuaciones como la renovación de las tres calderas de gasoil existentes por el uso de gas natural, una fuente de energía más limpia y de menor coste.

Por otro lado, el Área de Gestión Sanitaria Sur de Córdoba impulsa el uso de energías renovables y eficiencia energética a través del desarrollo de una serie de acciones que hacen hincapié en el fomento de conciencia de ahorro energético. Entre las actuaciones llevadas a cabo en los centros de Atención Primaria, el área sanitaria ha optimizado la potencia contratada, lo que supone un «considerable» ahorro en el concepto de término de potencia facturado. El ahorro anual se estima, según la tarifa de precios vigente en casi 90.000 euros y se ha reducido en torno a los 15 kilowatios por hora la potencia lumínica instalada en las zonas de los centros.

En cuanto al Hospital Infanta Margarita, en Cabra, cabe destacar la finalización de las obras del proyecto de eficiencia energética que ya está en marcha en este centro sanitario a través de la Red de Energía de la Junta. Este proyecto le supondrá un ahorro en su factura eléctrica estimado de más de 360.000 euros al año y se centra en la sustitución de las calderas de agua caliente que suministran calefacción y agua al hospital, e instalaciones de un sistema solar térmico para producción de agua caliente sanitaria.
